After some thorough discussions, the admins have made an unanimous decision on switching to a cheaper hosting. This decision was made because of our limited funds are unable to sustain our current default Teamspeak 3' server hosting. Thanks to our ~~Sith dad, Darth Vader~~ Terminus has seek for a better solution in this matter and so we move.

We will keep current sildota2.teamspeak3.com active for another month with a minimum fee to let our regulars and newcomers(?) that missed this moving announcement. So you won't miss it unless you do not have awareness ~~like you do not have map awareness in Dota 2~~.

We have been delaying announcement regarding SIL Season 2 and what not. Reborn gave us, the guild a pretty tough time to manage everything under a guild. Reborn has yet implemented (or will never be) but council has decided the following changes.

POSTPONEMENT ON SIL SEASON 2

Unfortunately we have to and need to postpone SIL Season 2 until further notice or at least until Valve decides to implement guild system into the client itself. The decision was made by members of council as we thought to keep quality, we need the guild system indefinitely. No mistake on it. As mentioned, we won't have a exact date or time to start SIL Season 2 but there will be more time for you to prepare your team. Find your true teammates and battle on.

Canceling? No, we will have SIL Season 2 but not now, until we have proper facility from our beloved developer Valve. At this moment, we still accept registration but everything will be on hold without approving or disapproving. In the meantime, please take this opportunity to prepare and form a team. We expect a lot of you joining.

NO GUILD, NO LOBBIES

Fret not, guild communication will temporarily replace with our Steam Group chat. We find this is the most efficient way than other as you only need Steam Overlay to navigate without having to exit or alt + tab for chatting. Everything done within Steam.

How to join? I believe most members should be in the Steam Group and you will be able to find us through the Steam Group page (find "Enter chat room") or via Friend list under "Groups" (and look for "SEADota Inhouse league Guild" after you joined the Steam Group). If you wish to use in-game chat, we also suggest "SILGG" but ultimately, Steam Group chat will be better as we embrace the no-guild situation in Dota 2 Reborn client.

That will be pretty much all we have to say. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to contact us! We will try our best to answer all of your questions.

REBORN SHAPES SIL
With Valve's announcement last night, SIL will be making plans as we move to Reborn (Source 2). We would like to inform SIL Season 2 participants to download Reborn as soon as possible. Please take extra precaution as it might changes your gameplay experiences, get used to it.

It is safe to say we will be having this tournament over at Dota 2 Reborn (Source 2 engine) client. The issue we are having currently will be the missing of 'guild' system'. We have tried to contact Valve or get answer but we have yet to get a solid answer. We will not know what will happen but we will move forward as it changes. No worries on our part!

Valve's statement

With The International behind us and the Majors just around the corner, we are excited to have the world start playing Dota in the brand-new Source 2 engine. Within the coming weeks, the main client will receive the Reborn Update. Moving away from the Source 1 engine soon will allow us to better focus our efforts entirely on Source 2 in preparation for various upcoming tournaments. There are still a few features that will need some work when the update is released, but we plan to finish them quickly. Expect the weeks that follow to focus on ironing out issues, refining the dashboard and iterating based on your feedback. Afterwards, we'll begin shifting our attention toward the in-game UI, where we plan to redesign the HUD and work on a variety of other in-game features.

Today's update to Reborn contains various bug fixes and improvements, as well as a large number of backend changes that result in a very large one-time download. Now would be a good time for everyone to start downloading the Reborn update, as you will not need to download it again when the main client receives the update in the coming weeks.

If you do not have the Reborn update installed and would like to get a head start on it now, launch the Dota client and head over to the Play Tab to get set up. All of your items are now in the Reborn client, and after today any new content will be added directly to Source 2 only.

Dota or Dota 2, a game that requires a full 5 men cooperation to bring out the best result at the end of a match. When one fall, we will have the other 4 to back you up. A game of teamwork, no one should ever be left behind in the battlefield.

A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...

...a crouton was baked. He lived through this childhood like the average crouton. However, he did not really like the environment around him as it was a bit too toxic. He decided he could not take it any more and ran away from the city to search for an environment that was less toxic, an environment that he could enjoy and fit in. He thought to himself, "I need a new name for people to recognise me and so that the people from the city cannot recognise me." He found an old man while wandering and asked him "Hey you, give me a good name!," the old man looked down at his food he was eating and replied to him "Croutons." He liked the name that was given to him, though he decided to add his favourite number at the end of the given name and thus he named himself "Croutons5." He continued wandering after yelling his new name. At last, while wandering for days on the lost grounds of /new he found a place that is potentially enjoyable for him.

After a few days of walking around, meeting and socialising with people in the new town he thought he would potentially enjoy, he decided to stay. His first encounter with the townspeople was when he stumbled upon nine other townsmen that decided to challenge each other to a friendly match of five versus five. They needed one more so they could start the match and Croutons5 wanted to join with them so he approached them, "Can I play?," he asked. All of the nine townsmen looked up to him, thought to themselves "This new kid has to be good, he has the name of a food for god's sake." before saying yes to the new kid. The new kid was stunned, he did not think they would want him in their game. Before the game, Croutons5 and the other four townsmen discussed their plan for the game and concluded that the new kid should support the four of them so they picked him a character that was pretty cool even though the character consumes innocent children in order to be useful in the early stages of the game.

He tried so hard and got so far, and in the end it mattered which resulted in their victory. Every single member on the team knew they underestimated the kid, they complimented him for his spectacular supporting. The new kid was flattered upon hearing the praises of his teammates. Later that night, he thought to himself that he needed a place to sleep. Thus, he asked around where he could get a place to stay at and the townspeople redirected him to the third TownSpeak client. The third TownSpeak client told him that there were no available places to stay at. However, they found out that there was an abandoned lair that was available to stay at and that he did not need to sign up or pay for it. Croutons5 took off immediately prior to taking the town map, heading his way towards the abandoned lair.

As he heads his way towards the Croutons5, he notices the sound of the trees in the breeze. He hadn't realised how much jet fuel is not hot enough to melt steel beams. Enjoying the wind in the air, he finally arrived at the abandoned lair. Upon arriving, he thought of something he thought no one would ever think of, a cafe. He set off to the nearest local store, bought four mangos and placed it in his backpack. Why mangos? Croutons5 was a smart one, he had planned this way ahead of time, since a mango will grant +1 health point regeneration while you have it in your backpack, four mangos would grant +4 health point regeneration at the cost of 150 gold each, which makes this a total of 600 gold. He noticed there was a ring which costed around 875 gold, he asked the counter what it does. The counter replied saying that the ring grants +5 health point regeneration while you have it in your inventory to which Croutons5 replied, "Why should I buy one ring that costs 875 gold that grants +5 health point regeneration when I can buy five mangos that would cost me 750 gold, grant +5 health point regeneration AND give me the energy enough for do my power?" The counter was speechless.

All right, since this is going to take too long for a blog post I'll skip the timeline and head over to after over half a year and a season one tournament. When the interested tell tales of SIL Season 2, none are sure of which are true. In whispered tones they say there would be no SIL Season 2. Others hear that SIL was dead. Still others believe that there would be a SIL Season 2. Silently in the darkness, the councils watched over the interested and schemed something to stop all these misunderstandings. The councils gave them a season 2 of Fame & Fortune; they say the interested ones can win some shiny arcana or so. Still, the council felt this was not sufficient, they decided to write some ridiculous lore so the announcement to SIL Season 2 would sound cool. And so, let us all reborn once again, as five.

In short, SIL Season 2 will be separated into two parts, and they are...

GROUP STAGES
Group Stages will be preceded by an Open Qualifier PROVIDED that there are more than 20 teams joining. In the event of an open qualifier, FIRST 18 teams registered go straight through to the Group Stage, with the remaining teams going into a sudden match to fight for the last 2 spots.

Group Stage will be in a Round Robin format, with each team playing against all other teams in a Best of 1. The 4 teams with the lowest score at the end of the group stage get eliminated.

MAIN EVENT
The Main Event will be divided into two phases:
Phase 1 will have the 9th - 16th teams playing in BO1 match-ups, with the losers immediately getting eliminated and the winners proceeding to the Lower Bracket of Phase 2.

Phase 2 will separate the top 8 teams from the Group Stage into the Upper and the Lower Bracket. All games in Phase 2 will be Best of 3. Losing in the Upper Bracket sends a team to the Lower Bracket, and losing in the Lower Bracket eliminates a team.

The top 4 teams in the Group Stage will go straight to the Upper Bracket, and the 5th - 8th teams go straight into the Lower Bracket, with their matches being against the winners of Phase 1.

SIL Season 2 will be played in Captain's Mode, from 3rd October 2015 throughout 2 months, from Phase 1 after open qualifier (if any). Open Qualifiers will starts with the condition of more than 20 teams registered, on 23th September 2015. The teams' match ups will be randomized and being posted over at our Facebook and subreddit as soon as possible. Open Qualifier matches normally from 7PM onwards. Full group stage/main event schedule will be announced soon after we are done with it.

Q: I don’t have a team or I don’t have enough teammates, what should I do?
A: We will announce 'teamless' application, something similar to previous one, over at our subreddit soon.

Q: Can I recruit teammates outside from the guild?
A: Yes, you can but they need to join our guild by following these steps. See here.

Q: Can we still participate after 20 teams being registered?
A: Yes. If your team is not the first 18 team registered, you will be entering our sudden death Open Qualifier.

Q: Captain's Mode or Captain's Draft?
A: Captain's Mode. As the meta matured, we decided it is 'balanced' and this was the members' choice.

Q: Is this tournament being streamed?
A: Yes, it will be available on our Twitch.

Q: Will you stream on Youtube Gaming?
A: Most probably not, but we never know.

Q: What is the prize pool?
A: It is a secret for now. Fret not, there will be something!

Q: Can we go Rosh to get the cheese?
A: Make sure to have wards outside the Rosh Pit before you go in, else you'd probably get echo-slammed and the other team will probably win first place.

THE FAME YOU LONGED, THE FORTUNE YOU SEEK

The guild has been awful quiet recently. At its prime, SIL has had multiple consecutive lobby games going, with a total of around 30-50 active consecutive players at a time. We have observed that the The International 5 Compendium has changed this. To get our guild up and running once more, we have come up with an idea that will hopefully pique your interest.

Introducing "Fame and Fortune", a MVP system where the players decide who performed the best within their respective games. What's in it for you? Glory. Multiple instances of glory and recognition by your fellow guildmates, and the Treasure of the Nested Cache at the end of the MVP rainbow.

Participation is fairly simple. All you have to do is play lobby game with your SIL guildmates and be the best!

Procedure:

1. Head into an SIL lobby game (don't forget, pass is silgg).

2. Play, enjoy, and do your best to win it for your team.

3. Vote for who you think was the MVP in your game.

The MVP for a game is determined by the highest number of MVP votes. Players may not vote for themselves. Instead, voting for someone else automatically gives one self-vote.

e.g. Game 1 has Players A, B, C

Player A votes for Player B: A = 1, B = 1, C = 0
Player B votes for Player A: A = 2, B = 2, C = 0
Player C votes for Player A: A = 3, B = 2, C = 1
Player A is MVP of Game 1.

Failure to vote for someone else results in no self-vote.

Players may vote through any means that works best, be it the in-game chat, the guild chat, or a separate chat channel entirely. It's all up to you. Just make sure someone can screencap the post-match results as lobbies do not appear on Dota 2 profiles or other site media. What you do with the screencap and vote results? The result shows Tez has 6 votes, including one self-vote upon participating in the voting and Radnedge has 5 votes, including the self-vote. Clear winner for this Fame and Fortune (mock) lobby goes to Tez.

Certain members have been delegated to be in charge of generating lobbies for you to participate in, and head the voting system. But remember, anyone and everyone can host a lobby, so you have no need to wait for a lobby to be created for you. Yes, you can start one yourself! The more lobby games that you join, the higher the chances of being considered MVP. The first round will end on 20th July 2015 tentatively.

Guild rules are still in effect. We are especially strict about abusive and harmful behavior in the community. People who violate the rules will have no chance to be considered MVP, and will be dealt with as per guild rules.

Each game gives one player an MVP point. These MVP points will be tallied at the end of a certain timeframe and the player with the most MVP points at the end wins the prize. There will be multiple timeframes.

Now, don't be too complacent just because you think you're good. The total won't be based off of YOUR games, but the TOTAL number of lobby games played within the timeframe. You may have a 100% MVP point rate, but someone else may have played 4 times as many lobbies as you and gotten just enough MVP points to overthrow you.

EXPERIMENTAL IXDL PRIVATE LEAGUE

As the guild has gone a little inactive in this few weeks, we have decided to rent an IXDL server. We had this server running for few weeks, and only will last for a month unless we decide to continue it. This is an experiment to test run the crowd and dedication to host and play within our guild, before The International 5 and SIL Season 2. Our fund can only support a 25-users server in IXDL currently, and remember this is an experimental league.

As you can see above, we have a list of familiar names in the server. If you are interested in joining us, please leave us a comment or contact any of the available admins in the guild. We are currently full, but we will try our best to make some slots for most members to try it out. To expand the user slots need some funding, and we are in the midst of settling that. Please be considerate on this issue.

As we had a quite successful run on our first tournament, SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft, we will come up with the next install – SIL Season 2. Concrete details will not be released too soon but Season 2 will definitely come after The International 5 and we expect it to arrive on early September 2015. We would like to invite all interested participants to start gathering your teammates and form a solid team before the next exciting season comes.

With 2 more months to go, this allows us to have more time to #polish our final deets and please expect the better from us. We will strive to be the best.

You may have heard or seen news about our SIL-IXDL Private League. Please note this is still on an experimental stage. We will talk more about it in our next blog post.

CONGRATULATION TO 3 POKEMON 2 SADBOYS

May 19, 2015 - SIL Captain's Draft Season 1 concludes after four long weeks. At first, we had 18 + 6 teams participating in our tournament. Plenty dropped but we didn't stop because we want to see success of our epic series.

On May 17, 3 Pokemon 2 Sadboys showed their worthiness as they rise from the lower bracket up to the Grand Final against Trojan Horse Was a Unicorn. In Game 1, we have invited Xyclopz to cast and he humbly accepted our invitation. Even though it was just one game, we still appreciate on his time and cast before he went off to cast for The International 5's Open Qualifiers.

Trojan Horse Was a Unicorn took the first game convincingly but 3 Pokemon 2 Sadboys strikes back with 3 solid games after their defeat in game 1. Final score shows 3 to 1 with 3 Pokemon 2 Sadboys crowned as our very first SIL Captain's Draft Season 1 champion!

Fret not, the other 2 teams that got beaten by 3P2S. You all will be awarded as promised. All the prizes will be distributed as shown below.

On behalf of the SIL committee, we thank every teams for their participation in this much flawed tournament (but we tried our best). We promise to give back more and organise better tournaments in the following seasons. As Season 1 ends here, we will start preparing for the next. As you might notice, we have moved ever so slightly on the Lower Bracket. We actually messed up the seeding on the lower bracket so we fixed it before anything goes wild. This arrangement ensures a fairer group seeding.

Before we end this, we wish every team and players all the best. Don't give up but try to give all you can in a game, no matter it's 15 minutes or 2 hours long.

SECOND PHASE, ANOTHER DROPS

May 3, 2015 - SIL Captain's Draft Season 1 has a minor or some would say major to you. Lower Bracket updated as APEX ALPHA PREDATORS or AAP has dropped out from the second phase of SIL Captain's Draft Season 1. Due to this, we have contacted Supreme Leader on the replacement but they are unable to make to the brackets. As they can't make it, we have decided to get the team just below Supreme Leader in the standings. Croutons+4 will be replacing AAP from now on.

This change also made us realise we should reconsider the standings and brackets. As above shown, there are minor changes on the team matchups but games will still go on. We have posted on our subreddit regarding scheduling too. Teams do check it out.

The upper bracket remains unchanged. In fact, we will have a match tonight. Midas or Feed vs. YX FANBOYS from the upper bracket at 9PM (Sunday) in a best of 3 format. You may watch the matches over on DotaTV under Amateur and find "SIL Captain's Draft Season 1".

SIL SEASON 1 ROUND ROBINS ARE DONE

May 1, 2015 - 14 days of SIL Captain's Draft Season 1 round robins have come to an end. Results are out. 12 teams will be advancing to the next phase – Midas or Feed, Trojan Horse Was A Unicorn, T-rex Hates Push-ups, 3 Pokemon 2 Sadboys, YX FANBOYS, APEX ALPHA PREDATOR, Katipunan Elite Force, YOLO, Indomie Goreng, Clueless Int, No Idea, and lastly Team 143 means ily. Unfortunately, we will not have any tiebreaker for the two 12th places. Therefore, Team 143 means ily advances. Reason being Team 143 means ily has won against Supreme Leader in their previous matchup.

**Mistake on standings! YX FANBOYS and 3P2S have the same score of 10-4. YX FANBOYS will be in the Upper Bracket instead, because YX FANBOYS has won against 3P2S in the previous matchup. Brackets & standings updated. Sorry about that!

All matches in BO3 except for Grand Final

Second phase matches will be starting as early as on Saturday. To accommodate every teams' desired schedule, we like to propose the idea of scheduling the matches yourself with the time slots we provide. Time slots provided can be found with the following link http://goo.gl/CektzS.

Teams must contact each other to come into an agreement on a date and time we provide for Best of 3 games (except for Grand Final BO5). For instance, WB1 match's Midas or Feed must contact 3 Pokemon 2 Sadboys and both agrees to choose Saturday 5PM timeslot to play, or vice versa. After that, we will need both captains to e-mail us sildota.contacts@gmail.com the time. Please schedule your matches as soon as possible and you will have more slots in the future without delaying.

Secondly, we encourage the teams have their 5 main players with an extra stand-in forming a team of 6. We have received several complaints regarding the unfairness of excessive stand-in and one-for-all stand-ins issue. After a few discussion, we will not allow Goguma and lyx standing in for ANY teams in SIL Season 1. We urge teams without complete 5 members to inform us and declare their 5 + 1 official stand-in before the double elimination starts. Any inquiries, you may list down in the e-mail too.

Other than that, our admin, croutons5 has requested the TOP 12 teams to submit their team logos and banners. The purpose of this is to make amazing visuals for the teams in this tournament. E-mail us now (with a proper subject title like "YOLO team logo")!

April 17, 2015 - We are only few hours away from the first game of SIL Captain's Draft Season 1, 5 hours and 30 minutes to be exact. Our admin, Chris which had handled the communication between Valve receive an email that got us hyped hours ago. It looks surreal, it is our (free) ticket is up and online on Dota TV.

BE PUNISHED OR OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT

April 7, 2015 - As the title suggested, all SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft participants MUST publicise their Steam profile before and during the tournament. This allows the admins to moderate and inspect all the players submitted to our system. We wouldn't want any weird gimmick like unauthorised players being played in the matches or banned players.

Failures to do so will be punished or even get disqualified from the tournament. We take this matter seriously. As that being said, we urge every single participants especially team captains to read our SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft Rules clearly. We will not let any rules breaker through.

20 TEAMS WITH OVER 200 GAMES HAPPENING

FROM 17 APRIL THROUGH MAY 2015

April 5, 2015 - SEA Dota 2 Inhouse League presents SIL Captain's Draft Season 1 2015. After a month of the guild's establishment, we are ready for our first tournament to welcome our players to have a fun and good game in a tournament format. Tournament will start on 17 April 2015 at 6:00PM (SGT).

20 teams will have to go through a long-run of Round Robin, with each team going to face off the other 19 opponent teams. At the end of the Round Robin, 16 teams will advance to the playoffs while bottom 4 teams with the lowest wins will be eliminated.

Round Robin schedule can be found here. Any rescheduling must be informed to the respective admins THREE(3) days before the matches. With this being said, team must provide valid reason(s). Early rescheduling before the tournament starts (on 17 April) are allowed.

2. All of the Players required to add his Team Tag in their IGN (in-game name).
3. Please do not use vulgar words or ridicule your opponent.
4. Respect others and respect yourself.
5. Any teams that failed to show up in lobby after 45mins late will be Disqualified by admins.
6. If there are any problems during the tournament, please do contact any admin on time.
7. Admin got the rights to make any final decisions and DQ any team if there are any problems.

March 31, 2015 - SEA Dota 2 Inhouse League's very first SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft has kick off its 'Teamless Qualifiers' two nights ago. A total of 5 teams competing each other to fight for the last two slots to SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft main bracket.

Just last night, YOLO came out on the top with 4 convincing wins without a loss. This qualified team is what other team should look out for as they showed what they are capable of. Coming down to second, we have Spacecows United scored 3 wins against 1 loss in this qualifier. It is unfortunate for us to eliminate the other 3 teams, TongkatAli, Proper Planning Prevent Piss Poor Performance, and Raven, making them unable to participate in SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft.

March 29, 2015 - SEA Dota 2 Inhouse League has successfully gathered teams within the guild in the SIL Captain's Draft Season 1. 18 teams has filled up the boat and another 2 teams will be joining us after this qualifier concludes.

We are here to announce the open opportunity to the teams that have not able to join the first 18 teams in SIL Captain's Draft Season 1. 2 teams out of the 5 teams from the 'Teamless Qualifier' will advance to the main bracket in mid-April through mid-May 2015.

FORMAT
Each team will battle against one another in Best of 1 (BO1). 2 teams with the most wins will proceed to the main bracket.

RULES
1. All members must show the in-game name EXACTLY like the name submitted in the team registering form. Not doing so will result in instant disqualification. Being uninformed or other excuses will not be entertained.

2. In the case of missing a player or a player in unable to participate for whatever reasons, the team captains have the responsibility to inform the admin about it and find a replacement if the team still want to participate in the qualifier. Stand-ins is allowed. Stand-ins do not have to be registered first but have to be inform the admin at least half an hour prior to the start of the game. (if you are planning to use a stand-ins) Failing to do so will result in forfeiting that match and will be counted as a loss.

3. Punctuality Rule: All teams have to get all of their members ready sitted in the lobby at the time of their match. Failing to do so will result in the following penalty. 1min-15mins late will have drafting time reduces according to the lobby penalty setting. 15mins-45mins will have the drafting time further reduce significantly. After 45 mins, that match will be considered forfeit and a loss to the team that is not punctual.

4. No all chat rule. Teams are not permitted to all chat through out the game from the drafting all the way to the end. Exception to call for a pause, stating the problem, requiring assistance from the admin and calling GG. Failing to oblige to this rule will result in a yellow card. 2 yellow card will result in a red card. Receiving a red card will result in tournament disqualification.

If there is further rules being added in addition to these 4 rules. it will be updated here without the admins needing to inform the teams. Failing to keep update with the rules is not an acceptable excuse

March 22, 2015 - We have come to an end for our tournament survey. After the compilation of the responses, we conclude in organising a 5v5 tournament or league if you are comfortable with that. This conclusion is based on the members' responses and you may view the results at this survey results post.

Date & Time
The tournament will start on April 17, 2015 though this date is tentative until we have reach certain numbers of teams registered. More details will be update here or over at our subreddit.

Team Registration
If you already have a team of 5 (or maybe a standin), please register your team by filling up this form. Deadline for the registration will fall on March 28, 2015. Submission after March 28, 2015 (Saturday) 11:59PM will not be entertained.

Teamless
We understand not everyone has a team of 5 or wanting to join a team. Players Application comes in handy here. You just need to fill up the form with your IGN, Roles, and Steam ID URL. Find your most suitable teammates by viewing this players' submission. From there, you may contact the players you wanted to recruit or start up a team or visit this Reddit post solely for Team Recruitment.

In this first season of SIL, we decide to cater 20 teams only. First come first basis. 18 teams will be accepted in the 'walk-in' registration and several teams will be formed with the 'teamless' players which they will go through a qualifier to fight for the last 2 slots. We apologise for any inconvenience but I can assure you the next season will be more exciting with kick ass prizes.

FAQ (also known as Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: I don’t have a team or I don’t have enough teammates, what should I do?
A: As for now, we are trying to address this issue. The solution is to create a player’s application and letting guild members to fill it up and publicly reveal the informations for each player to recruit or join.

Q: Can I recruit teammates outside from the guild?
A: No, you should ask an officer to invite your teammates to the guild so they can join the tournament.

Q: Wouldn’t it be unfair if we’re up against players who are higher MMR than we are?

A: Yes, it would be but we don’t have a proper solution or approach to it for now. Although this is an issue for lower MMR players, we have a team developing a web-based system to be released in future.

Q: Can we still participate after 18 teams being registered?
A: Teams that unable to join the first 18 teams are able to join the qualifiers and fight for the last 2 slots. Total of 20 teams will advance to the brackets of SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft.

Q: Qualifiers? Why do you need qualifiers?
A: We have quite a number of players don't belong to any team and we are planning to help them for a team of 5 and join the qualifiers. This creates a situation where most of the guild members are able to participate SIL Season 1 Captain's Draft.

Q: What is this web-based system being mentioned?
A: Our development of this system is in alpha stage. We will have an official announcement in April 2015 through our social media platform.

Q: I want to be Dendi/SuMaiL, make solomid 1v1 happen.
A: Based on the survey, majority of the members have voted 5v5 over the other two options. This doesn’t mean we won’t have 1v1. After rounds of discussion, we might have a weekly 1v1 challenge instead of a tournament. This idea is tentative.

Q: Why Captain’s Draft instead of Captain Mode?
A: We chose this mode because we believe with Captain’s Draft, players can showcase their innovation better and find alternative playstyles suited to different environments.

Q: What is the bracket or format of this tournament?
A: We will release the bracket once we have 20 teams registered with us. Please look out for this post/our blog for the bracket updates and also number of teams accepted.
Q: Is this tournament being streamed?
A: Yes, whenever we have caster(s) available.

Q: Where can I watch the stream?
A: We will stream on twitch.tv/sildota or more other streamer’s links will be posted.
